This year, the scientists of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics contributed to the scientific literature in many books and book chapters they have produced together or alone.
Prof. Dr. Fatma Celik and Assoc.Prof.Meltem Soylu The book “Dietetics and Nutrition Case Studies,” edited, was made internationally with the contributions of Beril Coşkun, Betül Yalap, İbrahim Halil Bağış, Merve Tatlı, Şeyma Selen Aykanat, and Zehra Nur Karaer, students of that time who had now received their science specialization. Ankara Nobel Medicine Bookstore by publishing it. Again, under the editorship of Prof. Dr. Fatma Çelik and Assoc. Prof. Meltem Soylu, the book “Nutrition Counseling and Education Guide for Professionals” was published by the same publishing house with the collaboration of 23 students from the Nutrition and Dietetics Master’s Program. Lecturer Ezgi Ertal is an up-to-date guide in both valuable books with the sections “Case Study 22: Food Allergy”, “Case Study 23: HIV/AIDS”, “Expanding Fields of Activity of Nutritional Practices,” and “Lifelong Counseling.” offered perspective.
Assoc. Dr. Under the editorship of Meltem Soylu, the books “Nutrition and Dietetics Current Issues-12” and “Nutrition and Dietetics Current Issues-13” were published by Hatiboğlu Publishing. In the same publishing house, one of the young academicians of our department, Lecturer Sevde Kahraman’s book chapter titled “Mother and Child Nutrition in Emergencies and Special Situations” “Epidemic Diseases and Pandemics, is included in the book named “Food Safety and Mother-Child Nutrition.”
Prof. Dr. Fatma Çelik under the leadership, our department’s young academics, Res. Assist. Melike Şare Bulut and Lecurer Ezgi Ertal the chapter “Enteral, Parenteral Nutrition, and Correct Product Selection,” written by Ezgi Portal, is included in the book “Nutritional Issues in Radiation Oncology of Turkey Clinics.”Lecturer Sevde Kahraman’s book chapter “Clinical Evaluation and Management in Children for Dietitians” titled “The Evaluation of Laboratory Findings and Nutrition in Children” was published by International Ankara Nobel Medicine Bookstores. Also serving as the Director of the Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Prof. Fatma Çelik edited the Vocational and Medical Terminology book, which is also the source of the Nutrition Terminology course. Lecturer Emre Manisalı and Lecturer Soner Sinan have been brought to the literature through the same publishing house with the valuable contributions of our department writers and Vocational School academicians.
The published books will guide the experts and students working in the field. We congratulate our teachers for their valuable work.
